Ingredients
- Chicken pieces
- Garlic, to taste
- Ginger, grated, to taste
- ¼ cup honey
- ¾ cup teriyaki sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
- Combine garlic, grated ginger, honey, teriyaki sauce, salt, and pepper to make the marinade.
- Coat chicken pieces with the teriyaki mixture.
- Bake with foil on, skin-side down, at 350°F for 30 minutes.
- Turn chicken over so skin faces up. Remove foil and bake at 375°F until done and skin is golden.
Tip: Starting skin-side down lets the chicken cook through gently; finishing skin-up at higher heat crisps the glaze beautifully.
