Teriyaki Chicken

Ingredients

  • Chicken pieces
  • Garlic, to taste
  • Ginger, grated, to taste
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¾ cup teriyaki sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Combine garlic, grated ginger, honey, teriyaki sauce, salt, and pepper to make the marinade.
  2. Coat chicken pieces with the teriyaki mixture.
  3. Bake with foil on, skin-side down, at 350°F for 30 minutes.
  4. Turn chicken over so skin faces up. Remove foil and bake at 375°F until done and skin is golden.
Tip: Starting skin-side down lets the chicken cook through gently; finishing skin-up at higher heat crisps the glaze beautifully.
