Ingredients
Salad
- 1 bag slaw mix
- Red cabbage, added to taste
- 5 green onions, sliced
- Toasted slivered almonds (2–3 race bags)
- 1 bag crushed chicken ramen noodles
- Sunflower seeds (optional)
Dressing (make night before)
- ½ cup oil
- 14 Tbsp white vinegar or apple cider vinegar
- 1½ Tbsp sugar
- Packet of chicken seasoning (from ramen)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
- Make the dressing the night before: whisk together oil, vinegar, sugar, chicken seasoning packet, salt, and pepper. Refrigerate.
- When ready to serve, combine slaw mix, red cabbage, and green onions in a large bowl.
- Add toasted almonds and crushed ramen noodles (and sunflower seeds if using).
- Toss with dressing right before serving.
Add the noodles and almonds at the last minute to keep them crunchy.
