Ingredients
- 1 cup soft butter
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2¼ cups flour
- ¾ cup chopped pecans
- Additional powdered sugar for rolling
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Beat butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla together well, then hand mix in flour and pecans.
- Roll into balls and place on an ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes until set but not browned.
- While still warm, roll in powdered sugar. Let cool completely, then roll in powdered sugar again.

Tip: Roll twice in powdered sugar — once warm (it melts in), once cool (it coats).
