Rice Crispy Chicken

From Ida — crispy-coated chicken breasts rolled in buttery Rice Krispies

Ingredients

  • 8 whole chicken breasts
  • 8 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • ½ Tbsp pepper
  • ½ Tbsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 2 sticks butter or margarine, melted

Directions

  1. Mix Rice Krispies with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in a shallow dish.
  2. Melt butter in a separate shallow dish.
  3. Roll each chicken breast in melted butter, then roll in the Rice Krispies mixture to coat well.
  4. Place in a baking dish sprayed with Pam, uncovered.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 45–60 minutes until golden and cooked through.
Tip: Bake uncovered so the coating stays crispy — no foil needed!
