Ingredients

Cake

  • 4 eggs — blend first
  • 1 small can pumpkin
  • 1⅔ cups sugar
  • 1 cup oil
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Frosting

  • Cream cheese frosting

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large bowl, blend eggs first until well beaten.
  3. Add pumpkin, sugar, and oil. Mix well.
  4. Add flour, baking powder, vanilla, salt, baking soda, and cinnamon. Stir until combined.
  5. Pour into a greased pan and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
  6. Let cool completely, then frost with cream cheese frosting.
