Ingredients
- Semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
- Butter
- Eggs
- Egg yolks
- Powdered sugar
- All-purpose flour
- Vanilla extract
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375ยฐF. Butter ramekins or small oven-safe cups well and dust lightly with cocoa powder.
- Melt chocolate and butter together, stirring until smooth. Let cool slightly.
- Beat in eggs and egg yolks one at a time until well combined.
- Stir in powdered sugar and flour until just combined. Add vanilla.
- Divide batter among prepared ramekins.
- Bake 10โ12 minutes โ the edges will be set but the center should still jiggle slightly.
- Run a knife around the edges and invert onto plates. Serve immediately.
Key tip: Do not overbake. The molten center is the whole point โ pull them when the edges are firm but the middle still moves.
