- 3 Tbsp butter
- 3 Tbsp flour
- Pepper, to taste
- 3 cups milk
- 2 cups cheese
- 1½ cups macaroni noodles

- 12 Tbsp butter
- 12 Tbsp flour
- 4 tsp pepper
- 8 cups milk
- 8 cups cheese (4 cups Velveeta + 2 cups mild + 2 cups cheddar)
- 6 cups noodles
Directions
- Cook macaroni noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and pepper to form a roux.
- Gradually add milk, whisking constantly until smooth and thickened.
- Add cheese and stir until fully melted and creamy.
- Fold in cooked noodles. Serve immediately or transfer to a baking dish to keep warm.
