Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and quartered
  • 1Β½ tsp salt
  • Β½ cup whipping cream
  • ΒΌ cup butter (1 stick)
  • 1 heaping tablespoon roasted garlic
  • β…› tsp white pepper

Directions

  1. Boil potatoes and drain. Put in bowl and mash by hand with a masher or ricer.
  2. Place cream and butter in a saucepan until melted. Add garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook over medium-low heat until mixture begins to boil.
  4. Add to pot mixture.
  5. Bake in toaster oven to finish.
