Ingredients
- ¾ loaf white bread
- 1¾ cups heavy cream
- 1¾ pints whole milk
- 5 eggs, whipped
- 1½ cups sugar
- 1½ Tbsp vanilla
- 2 tsp cinnamon
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325°F. Cut bread into cubes.
- Combine heavy cream, milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon.
- Mix with bread cubes until bread is moist — note: do not allow bread to break apart.
- Spray a 13×9 baking pan with non-stick spray.
- Pour mixture into prepared pan.
- Bake at 350°F for one hour.
- Cool completely before serving.
Key tip: Fold the custard mixture gently into the bread — keeping the cubes intact gives the pudding great texture.
