Ingredients
- 1 lb beef, sliced
- 2 Tbsp butter (for browning meat)
- 4 Tbsp butter (for sauce)
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 1 (12 oz) can button mushrooms
- 3 Tbsp flour
- ½ tsp salt
- ⅛ tsp pepper
- 3 tsp beef bouillon or 3 cubes
- 1 can (10½ oz) beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
Directions
- Brown meat in 2 Tbsp butter. Remove meat and set aside. Add 4 Tbsp butter to the same pan.
- Sauté garlic, onion, and mushrooms for about 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat. Stir in salt, flour, and pepper until smooth.
- Add bouillon. Stir in 10½ oz can of beef broth and reserved meat juices gradually.
- Bring to a boil, stirring until thickened. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
- Over low heat, add sour cream and meat. Heat slowly until hot. Do not boil.
