Ann's Meatloaf

A hearty beef and pork meatloaf with Worcestershire and a ketchup glaze

Ingredients

  • 1½ lbs beef
  • ½ lb pork
  • 3 slices bread
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 beaten egg
  • ¼ cup minced onion
  • 1½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • ¼ tsp dry mustard
  • ¼ tsp celery salt
  • ¼ tsp garlic salt
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Ketchup (for top)

Directions

  1. Soak bread slices in milk until absorbed. Mix with beaten egg.
  2. Combine beef, pork, soaked bread mixture, minced onion, salt, pepper, dry mustard, celery salt, garlic salt, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well.
  3. Shape into a loaf and place in a baking pan.
  4. Spread ketchup on top.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 1½ hours.
