Ingredients

  • 1 head cabbage, shredded
  • ΒΌ cup mayonnaise
  • Β½ cup sour cream or whipped topping
  • Apple cider vinegar, to taste
  • Sugar, to taste
  • Salt, to taste
  • Crushed pineapple, drained (optional)

Directions

  1. Shred or finely chop the cabbage and place in a large mixing bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, apple cider vinegar, and sugar until smooth.
  3. Pour dressing over cabbage and toss well to coat.
  4. Add crushed pineapple if using β€” fold in gently.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness, salt, or vinegar to preference.
  6. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.
Tip: Better made a day ahead β€” the cabbage softens and the flavors meld overnight.
