Taco Dip

Layered cream cheese, taco sauce, tomatoes, avocado, onions & sharp cheddar — serve with nachos

Ingredients

  • 2 (8 oz) packages soft cream cheese
  • 1 pkg taco sauce
  • Chopped tomatoes
  • Chopped avocado
  • Green onions, sliced
  • Green peppers, diced
  • Grated sharp cheddar cheese

Directions

  1. Spread cream cheese evenly in a layer on a large plate or platter.
  2. Spread taco sauce over the cream cheese.
  3. Layer chopped tomatoes over the sauce.
  4. Add chopped avocado, then green onions, then green peppers.
  5. Finish with a generous layer of grated sharp cheddar cheese.
  6. Chill until ready to serve. Serve with nacho chips.
Tip: Layer right before serving to keep everything fresh. The avocado will brown if left too long.
