Ingredients
- 2 T butter
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 sliced banana
- ½ oz 151 Rum
- 1 oz Crème de Banana
- Dash of cinnamon
- Sliced almonds
- Vanilla ice cream, for serving
Directions
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add brown sugar and stir to combine.
- Add the sliced banana, ½ oz 151 rum, 1 oz crème de banana, and a dash of cinnamon.
- Flambé carefully — tilt pan or use a long lighter to ignite the rum. Let the flames burn out.
- Add sliced almonds.
- Serve immediately over vanilla ice cream.
Safety: Use a long lighter or match when flambéing. Have a lid nearby to smother the flame if needed. Keep the pan handle away from the flame.
