Avocado Dip (Guacamole)

Garlic, onions, jalapeños, avocados, tomato & lemon — mix and serve with taco chips

Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 2 medium onions, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, finely chopped
  • 3 avocados, mashed
  • 1 large tomato, diced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Press garlic and combine with finely chopped onions and jalapeño in a bowl.
  2. Add the mashed avocados and diced tomato.
  3. Squeeze in lemon juice and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Mix everything together — keep some texture, don't over-blend.
  5. Serve immediately with taco chips.
Tip: Press the avocado pits into the dip and cover tightly with plastic wrap to slow browning.
